A free six-week class, Healthier Living Colorado™, designed to help people deal with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition such as heart disease, a lung condition, diabetes or arthritis will be held on Thursdays., May 4-June 8 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Centura Thornton Neighborhood Health Center, 4075 E. 128th Ave., Thornton, CO 80241.
Healthier Living Colorado™ is the chronic disease self-management program developed at Stanford University. Whatever the diagnosis, this class teaches and supports participants in making better choices and practicing self-management. Classes are sponsored by COAW, the Consortium for Older Adult Wellness. COAW offers health self-management and falls prevention classes throughout Colorado.
