1.) Please describe your leadership style in three words.

Collaborative, open, listener

2.) Describe the skills and experience that make you the best candidate for the job.

Experience in dealing with local, state and federal government groups. Recognized as a leader in the region due to the various boards and committees I serve on as the Westminster representative.

3.) Please list your top three priorities if elected.

sustainability, controlled and quality growth, transportation

4.) How do you see Westminster best taking advantage of the economic boom in Metropolitan Denver?

Through the rework of the city's growth management plan and then a revisit of the city's comp plan to ensure we are meeting the demands of those who live in Westminster and those that choose to invest in our city.

5.) Explain your opinion regarding the city's role in promoting or reacting to ethnic and linguistic diversity?

The city in 2015 established a task force to see what were the short comings of the city in diversity. In 2017 we formally established the Inclusivity Board to provide recommendations and guidance to the city on how to take on these issues directly. In 2017 the National League of Cities awarded Westminster a second-place finish in a nationwide competition based on the establishment and the work being done by our Inclusivity Board. This is a great start but requires constant work to ensure we include all members of our community regardless of where they may have come from or what language they speak.
