Holy Family close season with win

It was a battle of the Tigers as the Holy Family and Erie softball teams squared off Oct. 4 in Broomfield.

Holy Family won easily 8-1, avenging a Sept. 18 loss to Erie and improving their overall record to 21-2 and their league record to 13-1 to close out the season. 

Holy Family improved state ranking to six statewide and to first place in Colorado’s Class 4A.

Regional playoffs are scheduled to begin Oct. 13, with state playoffs Oct. 19 and 20.
