Memorial Day honors

Thornton Police and Fire Honor Guard members joined leaders from the American Legion Post 22 to honor veterans of the United States Armed Forces for the annual Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery Memorial Day services on May 28. The event featured patriotic and religious music, a 21-gun salute, bagpipes and a flyover by a U.S. Airforce jet.
