What about taxpayers?

The September 21 Northglenn Thornton Sentinel included articles lauding a new school clinic, full day preschool, and funding for CHP+. A few months ago it was a story about expansion of the school lunch program to provide breakfast and lunch for “free” during the summer. What I haven’t seen is anything on how to pay for such programs. The legislature will debate school funding and other funding issues as usual this year, and few election cycles pass without the local school district requesting a tax increase. Meanwhile the taxpayer gets stuck paying for all of these programs. This cannot continue.
