Q&A with Savannah Martin, Standley Lake High School grad

Posted

I participate in National Honor Society and played varsity girls basketball and track. I plan to attend Western State Colorado University at Gunnison to pursue being a collegiate track and field athlete.

What profession or career do you want to pursue? Why?

I want to pursue a career in the medical field as an orthopedic or physical therapist. I wish to do this because I have had multiple surgeries on my right leg and the people who supported me through it were incredible. I would love to be able to pay it forward to future patients and athletes.

What do you hope to accomplish in life?

I want to live a happy life and enjoy wherever life takes me. I want to be a person that can help another.

If I could do anything, it would be to …

Bring light into as many lives as possible.
