Lenten season begins

Clergy from Northglenn's Church of the Beloved and Northglenn's United Church of Christ took to the parks and commuter hot spots on Ash Wednesday to pray and to mark foreheads with ashes to mark the beginning of the lentent season. This is the third year the Ecumenical Catholic Church, working with clergy from Northglenn's United Church of Christ, have taken their Ash Wednesday services into the community, offering ashes to Interstate 25 commuters at the Wagon Road Park and Ride before moving to the Northglenn's E. B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. more
