Congressman Ed Perlmutter (D-7th District) will host a one-hour telephone town hall from 7 to 8 p.m. March 24 providing updates on his work in Congress and the state of the district. The town hall will also be an opportunity for constituents to ask questions of Perlmutter.

Perlmutter hosts telephone town halls about once a quarter to talk about issues important to constituents in Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, Arvada, Golden and Lakewood. Topics may vary from the economy to health care, foreign policy or energy.

Several thousand people generally participate. This will be the 30 telephone town hall meeting Perlmutter has held since he took office in 2007, according to spokeswoman Ashley Verville.

To participate, go online to http://perlmutter.house.gov and click on the “Schedule of Events” tab. Participants who sign up will receive a call as the town hall is starting March 24. All information is confidential.
