Local attorney announces candidacy

Westminster attorney Alberto Garcia formally announced his candidacy for city council at a campaign kickoff-event on May 16 at Que Bueno Restaurant.

This will be Garcia’s first run for public office.

He has experience in the public policy arena previously serving as a congressional aide to former Rep. David Skaggs, and has worked at the Colorado General Assembly, most recently serving as policy director for state Rep. Tracy Kraft-Tharp.

Alberto is also the manager of his own law firm in the north metro area, specializing in appellate law.
