Council unanimously authorized the city manager to sign an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between the city of Westminster and the Westminster Economic Development Authority providing payment to the city from WEDA for reimbursement of costs associated with a redevelopment agreement benefitting the Urban Renewal Area and city incurred costs related to maintenance of improvements in the South Sheridan Urban Renewal Area. South Sheridan is one of seven URA’s under the WEDA umbrella and was created on March 29, 2004 to facilitate the redevelopment of property within its boundaries.
