Last health and produce fair

The last Produce and Health Fair will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the Church of God Seventh Day, 9375 Gaylord St. in Thornton. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own bag to get free produce. No income or residential requirements to participate. The fair also offers cooking demonstration and other health-related activities.

The fairs are coordinated by the Food Bank of the Rockies, Cooking Matters, city of Thornton and the Tri-County Health Department.
