Recall is no stunt

In regards to the article “The Political fault lines of Westminster's recall” recently published.

I am disgusted that you would make this out to be a political stunt. I can't imagine any resident of Westminster is content with the rates we are being charged. When our representatives will not help us and work for us... what course of action do we have? We must recall.

I can assure you whether there was a “D” or an “R” behind their name doesn't matter; All we see are dollar signs and another summer of high rates coming at us. This has turned into a three-ring circus and has exposed corruption at a local level. People will be ruthless and conniving to stay in power. It sickens me and your article does nothing but continue to fan the flames of divisiveness and continues the fight.

Where's the acknowledgment that higher rates for water that is essential for life disproportionately hits the lower-income more and prevents neighborhoods from making a difference and trying to look better?

Stop publishing politically motivated trash that does nothing to heal or unite residents. Step up and make a change! Focus on the real issue of excessively high water costs and not the struggle of politicians to stay in power.
