Support for North Metro Fire incumbents

While citizens clamor for better representation and increased transparency in government, citizens of Northglenn is fortunate to have such representation at the local level. I urge you to re-elect Tim Long, Jenni Murphy and Robert Nielsen as Directors for the North Metro Fire Board in May 5’s election.

They can be counted upon, not only to stand up for the District’s dedicated and committed fire fighters and medics but to support the District as it meets the challenges of expansive growth and increasing demands for emergency services.

These incumbents will hit the ground running on day one, continuing in their roles - Jenni as Secretary, Tim as Treasurer and Robert as Assistant Secretary - and working with the District’s senior leadership to find new ideas and perspectives. This team successfully met the goals in its first five-year Strategic Plan, keeping pace with our high-growth communities.

That means being responsive to developers needing plan reviews, renovating Northglenn’s Fire Stations, training new firefighters, adding medical units and fire engines, and replacing Broomfield’s Fire Station 61. Construction starts this fall.

These strengthen our communities’ infrastructure and preserve of our continued security and protection.

All three represent everyone who resides in the District, weighing alternatives, considering outcomes and understanding the effects on the citizens as they meet the District’s challenges. They have been fully engaged and genuinely committed to governing the Fire District well.

Please make your vote count, re-elect Tim Long, Jenni Murphy and Robert Nielsen.

John O’Hayre,

Northglenn
