Colorado Ballet
Colorado Ballet dancers are wearing 171 new costumes as they perform in this year’s “Nutcracker” performances. Cost? $1.5 million! (It’s been 33 years for the old ones!) The big order saved jobs for a number of seamstresses. Designer was Holly Hynes. Nutcracker performances: through Dec. 31, but these tend to sell out, so pick a date and nail down tickets soon, if there’s a little dancer who wants to go. Tickets range from $40 to $175.
