Mountain Range High School celebrated the Class of 2023 at its graduation ceremony on May 16th at the CU Events Center in Boulder.
For teacher Ian Simpson, the class gave him hope.
"Despite all the noise coming from the outside world, the nominees class of 2023 has taught me to see the world in a far less cynical way than I did just three years ago," he said.
Valedictorian Estella Duong told graduates to find happiness in their lives and to have fun along the way.
"But don't forget to stop and smell the roses. Touch grass if you will. Because we only get one chance at life," she said.
Principal Tiffany Hansen told former students that whichever path they decide to take, to always be a good person.
"No matter what path you choose, you should always strive to be a good person," she said.
