Applications are now being accepted for Colorado STEM Academy (CSA) for the 2014/15 school year. The third through 6th grade school will expand next year to include seventh grade and will expand eighth grade the following year.
The innovation school, which is open to students from both in and outside District 50 boundaries, offers a rigorous curriculum focused on science, technology, engineering and math. Employers have consistently said there is a shortage of qualified employees with skills in math and science.
Space is limited and the first lottery is scheduled for March 14, so interested families should apply as soon as possible.
