Westy spring clean-up set

Westminster is hosting a curbside collection clean up on Saturdays between April 18 and May 4 to pick up bulky items, old furniture, mattresses, carpeting, home construction debris and yard waste.

Collections are divided up in districts. The area Westminster south of 104th and east of U.S. 36 will be collected on April 18. The area north of 104th and east of U.S 36 will be collected on April 25. The area west of U.S. 36 will be collected on May 2. Registration costs $30 per household and can be done online beginning March 31. Visit the city’s website at www.cityofwestminster.us/largeitemcleanup for more information.

Debris piles must not be more than four-feet wide, four-feet tall and eight-feet long and must be marked for “Westminster Large Item Clean up.” Items should be placed parallel to the curb alongside the driveway before 7 a.m. on the collection day.

All items must be able to be lifted by two people and any that are too heavy for two people to lift will be left behind.
